Theatre, providing quality, family-oriented theatrical presentations
Magical Starlight Theatre was formed in September 1994 and is a program of The Naperville Park District. Magical Starlight’s express mission is to produce quality, family-oriented theatrical presentations.
Magical Starlight strives to include community actors and production staff
of all ages in its productions. Included have been such classics as The Wizard
of Oz, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and Peter Pan. Magical Starlight provides
a unique opportunity for adults and young people to work together as peers
and learn from one another. In addition, a conscious effort is made to include
as many family members as possible in all aspects of each production.
Performances by Magical Starlight are held at Naperville Central High School with two productions a year.

A Very Hairy Fairy Tale!
Hold on to your hair and prepare for a brand new magical musical re-telling of the classic fairy tale! "Rapunzel" comes to life in an exciting new musical featuring that beautiful princess with the long, long, long hair trapped in the tower, a handsome young suitor who doesn’t quite know what he’s searching for – of course, an evil witch who has her eye on what should be Rapunzel’s kingdom, and a tired, yet philosophical, old dragon who tries to make sense of it all! A charming musical adventure for the whole family!

September 7,8,14 and 15, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm
September 8, 9, 15 and 16, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm

Oliver!
Experience the high-spirited adventures of Oliver Twist in this musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale! Orphaned Oliver escapes the cheerless life of the workhouse and takes to the streets of 19th-Century London. He's immediately taken in by a band of street urchins who train him in the fine points of pick-pocketing. With the aid - and hindrance - of such immortal characters as Fagin, the Artful Dodger, Bill Sykes and Nancy, Oliver makes away with an unexpected treasure... a home and a family of his own. Set to a heartfelt score that includes such favorites as "Consider Yourself," "Where Is Love?" and "As Long As He Needs Me," Oliver! leads us on a journey in search of love, belonging, and honor among thieves. A classic musical for the whole family!

Ticket Information
Tickets are available through the Naperville Park District. To reserve tickets, order on-line at www.napervilleparks.org or call the park district at 630-848-5000.
Adults pay the same as children.
All tickets are $8 in advance when purchased through 5pm on the Thursday prior to that weekends' performances or $10 at the door.
